Replacment Battery Type

I have a March 2007 build 330i (N52) which does not have Efficient Dynamics (start/stop) and the battery is getting a little slow to crank now the mornings are getting colder.

Do I need and AGM battery?

If I don't need and AGM battery, is there any advantage to having one?

Thanks

AGM battery cost twice the price. If your car don't need AGM I would not waste the money on it but a get decent Bosch battery with 5 years warranty.
Also if you switch to AGM for the 1st time it will need coding..so unless you have the tools to code will be extra cost.
