CABD Error in NCS Expert

Nice to meet everyone here! I'm new to this so pls be patient...

Just got a Bimmergeeks cable and it seems to be working fine. I have been on countless blogs and have gone over FAQ's to make sure I am doing everything right. I keep getting "error in CABD!" when I try to read or write files on my '09 E92. I have spent days going over everything to make sure I am not screwing this up - Here's some background:

Win 10 laptop - com port 1, latency 1 on usb connection
NCS Expert connects but the ingition circle on INPA is not filled in, only the cable
NCS profile on Expert (manipulation unchecked)

Here isthe error log:

Does this error pop up on all modules when trying to write? Have you updated your daten files via bmw coding tool?

I have only tried a few modules, but it occurs every time I try to read OR write. INPA works and will do the test functions (ex: move the seat, test the gauges, etc.) so I know the cable from Bimmergeeks works. Also, through INPA I was able to verify that the cluster works by running a test on it. My original problem was that the tach, temp and fuel gauges were kicking in for a rew seconds then going back to 0. I read on a different post that DATEN files need to be updated in such an event. What do I need to do to update the DATEN files? I will look for the BMW coding tool that you mention...Thanks...any help would be highly appreciated!

I just found the coding tool. I also downloaded some DATEN files for my chassis code. I will try it today and let you know...if this works out I cannot wait to start coding away...will keep you posted!

Hey guys...looks like the KOMBI ecu is the only one that gets the error...all the rest work perfectly. Is there any way to reset the ECU to stock? I thik the programmer that messed it up in the first place may have screed up the ecu flashing?

UPDATE: Used WINkfp to re-flash the KOMBI to an earlier version and it worked like a charm!!! All gauges work again...thanks for the support. Now for some serious coding!!!!!!
