18" staggered setup on E90 LCI x-drive
Hi guys,
I'm planning to get a set of staggered 18" wheels for my car. I have 2010 328i X-drive. I will get 18X8.5, ET 35 front and 18X9.5, ET 33 rear. Anyone experienced problems with AWD system with this setup yet? Thanks |

Lots of people run a staggered setup with xi/x drive. Just make sure the rolling diameter of the tires are the same front to back. People have been running up to a 1% difference, but the closer the better.

Please advise how can I get the rolling diameters right. What do I need to get to have it right? Sorry, I'm not really familiar with this calculation.

Its all about tire sizing. Has nothing to do with how big or wide the rims are. Use this tire calculator... http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp
As long as the diameter difference is within 1% your good to go. |
