mmp relocation inlets help

I recently bought a pair of silicone relocation inlets from mmp. There diy is a little outdated because they include new hardware. I was wondering if someone has recenlty installed a pair. The problem Im having is where to attach the single small bracket for the coolant tank. There are two holes on the tank, does the other just not get used? And where does the single bracket attach to . A picture and a discription would be great. I tried to contact them earlier but they are based in Houston so Im guessing they may be having some problems. Fuck hurricane Harvey.

I think you can do it multiple ways, and some have done it differently. Here's how I did mine:

Sorry for the large pictures - but this allows you to use both of the mounting points on the coolant tank - using the one for the power steering resevoir as a common point. I had to buy some screws and nuts to make it all work, as the hardware on the car wasn't enough.

Hope that helps - it was confusing to me when I first did it as well!

I would like to give a round of apllause to you sir! for responding.

I knew where the small supplied bracket would go but didnt know about the hole in the tank. Only one of your pictures shows up. It adds a little more confusion . I see that the other hole is used with ps res, but what is that attached to? My kit came with a bracket that attaches to the alternator like so

Ugh - damn google photos didn't set permissions right. I didn't mount that bracket over the alternator - but on the side of the strut tower.

That is how I did mine. I think Mauricio had an updated video or guide that describes doing it that way. I'll see if I can find it.

Yes, as langsbr has shown in his photos - you don't bolt up that bracket to the alternator. Instead you bolt it to the strut tower - the holes on the strut tower line up and you don't need to drill anything. I mounted mine the same way as langsbr.
