LSD in E92 328i...

I have a 2009 manual transmission E92 328i. About 4 months ago I swapped in a complete 3.73 rear diff from a 2007 Automatic. Huge improvement over the 3.23 gears I had originally. I also have a some other power mods going on and expect to be around 260whp in January (3SIM, BPC Tune, MILV’s, AA Headers, Intake, etc).

Seeing as how the new diff I’m running is from 2007 I now realize there’s a good chance it has the bolted ring gear instead of the welded one. This should make installing a LSD really easy right?

I see ECS has a page for 328i LSD’s with 4 options under $1k...

https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-32..._Differential/

So my question is, can I just bolt one of these LSD’s into my new rear diff without shimming the gears and adjusting the gear mesh pattern?

And if so, which of those 4 options would be the best choice for a mostly daily driver and a few track days per year?

Not sure about fitment but for daily definitely go with helical.
