How do you plan on connecting it to the car?

- OTG (On The Go), meaning you plug your k+dcan cable to the Android device (tablet or phone) via the USB port on the Android. Keep in mind not all devices support this mode

- Using their bluetooth OBDII adapter, so no wires. Again, not all Android devices have bluetooth. But this has to be a really crappy some unknown brand Android device

I went with their bluetooth adapter, and I just used the app today to do some more "coding" and found the interface has "matured" and much better than when the app came out.

I hope this helps.
So would you say this is better than the schwaben tool? I want to do some light coding on my car. Also how's ease of use?

I can't say since I don't own a shwaben tool, and my "coding" experiece have been limited to just the protool. I wanted convenience over full access.
Just couldn't be bothered to haul a laptop and deal with all installation issues.
I'm a webdeveloper and I can handle a Windows OS pretty good.
But just too tired to have one more thing to debug.

Does anyone know how to reactivate the 2 second hill hold assist? I seemed to have somehow turned it off. Also how do I deactivate the cellphone sensor?

Just find a local coder (or even a non-local as they can do it remotely). IT can be done via NCSExpert if you have a KDCAN cable. There are a few places like Jeff@TopGearSolutions who can rent you a cable (even ICOM, I think) and then remotely code.
