Procede reader and jerking question
I was wondering how to change the boost levels with the procede reader. I have had V2 installed now for a week and still tring to get used to this procede reader. I noticed all my levels were set at 90%. I saw somewhere on his forum that people were running them at 94%. Is there a new map that changes them or do i need to do it manually? If so how do I go about doing it.
Oh and also I've had a couple of times where my car does this weird jerk in 3rd or 4th gear. Was wondering if anybody else has had this happen? Its only happened twice. Thanks in advance, Lance

Hello,
To my knowledge...you cannot use the procede reader to change the % of torque. The only wat to do this is to plug your laptop computer in with appropriate software via a serial connection on the Procede. see the following for instructions. It isn't too complicated and I think you should be able to work it out. You'll want to look towards the end of the installation for instruction. You may also want to do some search for Data Logging and Torque setting on this web to find out more information regarding this subject. There is much to learn so be patient. http://www.vishnutuningforum.com/for...read.php?t=343 |

Lance,
You'll need to run some data logs to see where you are on peak PSI but make sure you adapt before you reset your torque setting everytime. With 93 you may be able to run as high as 94% according to some on the forum. However, data logging is critical so that you can make sure. I think Shiv recommends a 1% increase at a time probably up to 94 for you. I'm at 94% and when the weather clears I'm going to do some data logging and try 95%. Good luck! |

Take a peek at the other thread entitled "Throttle Blips?" - the jerking, or jolt is happening to a few of us.
