Corsa Exhaust Reivew and Vids
Ok, I was perfectly happy with my Eisenmann Sport Exhaust for 335 until I heard the clips of the Corsa. I was impressed enough that I wanted to try it out and see if I liked it.
First off, its louder than the Sport and contrary to what Corsa and UUC claim, its does drone, mostly from about 1500-2500 RPM. It could be that Ive installed it on an E90 and not an E92 as they advertise, but who knows. The fit on an E90 is simple enough. The shop had to make a couple minor adjustments to get it to fit, but overall they were impressed how easy and well "dialed" in it was. Looks: Its hideous I hate the tips and will be replacing them shortly if I keep the exhaust. My wife thinks they are sporty, but sorry, they are not. But shit, they are just tips and I cant let them deter me since they can so easily be changed out. I think Im gonna put my so called "Eisenmann" tips on it from my Sport. Sound: Excellent. This thing is a beast. Clearly audible in the car, even when idling, nice wail at higher RPMs and with increased throttle. One of the best features is the gurgle and pop when letting off the gas or down shifting, its truly intoxicating. Despite all this, its not scary loud and quite nice, especially on the freeway as long as you keep the RPMs over 2500, under that and you will have drone. You will get the drone in pretty much any gear when under 2500 RPM. OK, on to the vids: Startup, Revving and Shutdown. Starting, Revving and Drive Away

Much louder than the old setup, and I think it sounds good too.
BTW, does someone actually stand there and watch over your camera when you're doing the vids so it doesn't grow feet and walk away?

Naw man, but what a sad coincidence this has become. I was hoping to sell the "Eisenmann" for close to if not equal to the price of the Corsa, but I dont see that happening now The tips are probably the most valuable part of that exhaust.

Yea, it is louder and much nicer in may ways, except for looks, but thats an easy fix. Its pretty lonely out there where I do my vids, so as long as the camera doesnt make friends with the bunnys and squirrels it should be ok

Its much better in person, I have to say that in the vids, it doesnt sound that different than the "Eisenmann", but in person there is a pretty big difference.

pretty much every exhaust drones for the first 1000 or 2000 miles...you have to break it in...also if you wanted louder why didn't you get the meisterschaft? it has more power and sounds much nicer than the sport!!!

Dinan tips was the one that made me sick and go for "eisenmann"
but fraggy you're right, I agree with you here again, the corsa tips just plain suck.

My wife loves them too, maybe you two should hook up Maybe hideous was a bit strong, but the worst part of them is that they tend to slightly point downward toward the ground, and that coupled with the angle cut makes it look strange. And they are tooooo big for the car too.

I've read this many times online and I think this is all marketing BS if you ask me. I have had an exhaust on every car I have ever owned and NONE of them ever got quieter or droned less after 1 or 2k miles. If anything, they all got louder. Also, the drone on my CP-E exhaust, or lack of it, is the same today as it was the first week I put it on the car. Just my 2 cents from my actual experiences though.

I changed the tips today and put on the fake "Eisenmann" tips off my Sport exhaust. The guy did a great job and I can take them right off since they are still clamped on put them on the "Eisenmann" if I might need to for any reason.
Magnaflow has some great double walled tips, 3.5in very similar to these.
