Rpms drop during idle.

I've noticed weird idle during the past week. The rpms drop eg. 600 rpms to 400 rpms and rise back up. It doesn't feel like a misfire. I've replaced all injectors with brand new, new vacuum lines, boost @ 10 psi, new coils and plugs, new solinoids. I had a Vanos code 2a82 and 3100. I replaced both solinoids but got the code after a week. I'm still making boost but still have bad idle. Can anyone please help me? Thanks!

Also interested in this.

I've been experiencing the same thing for a while as well. Occasionally, when coming to a stop in neutral the car will stall. I only noticed it starting pretty shortly after an oil change. I've made sure cap and filter are snug though, so not sure why this would cause it. Believe the car's been running on 5w-30 up until now but I changed it with 5w-40 LL01.

I've just replaced the coils and spark plugs, mostly because the plugs were due, so I figured I'd do coils as well. I haven't really been driving, what with the lockdown here in the UK so too early to tell if it's helped, but will update if it does.

I've also contacted my local dealer to see if they offer a carbon decoke/walnut blast service. Again, something that's due, but Was thinking it could help with this issue.

I had the same issue where the car would turn off pulling to a stop and rough idle with rpms surging and dropping.

I found out that my VRSF chargepipe had the bottom bolt come off (used for meth? Or something else) which was causing these issues. My indie found this and put a new bolt on which fixed it for me. Hope this helps.

Sounds like it may be worth doing a boost leak and smoke test if that can cause it. Guess unmetered air could cause it.

Is it normal for the oil filter to have some kind of play(up/down) ? I don't know if that's what's causing it.

Update. I realized my Vanos codes switched from 2a87 to 2a82 with new solinoids.

Reason I ask is that I was running MHD Stage 2 91 Octane and was having the same issue you're having. Changed it to Stage 2 93 Octane and issue is resolved.
