Koni sport rear shock adjust (help needed)

Hey!

I was installing my KONI Sports (yellow) shocks that arrived today
and i ran into problem? so i left rears for tomorrow and decided to ask for help.

So i followed instructions on rear shock adjusting
I attached shock to bench, fully compressed it by hand and then used
hex wrench to adjust it counterclockwise untill i felt "stop"

Then the part that got me wondering..
My plan was to turn it clockwise untill it stops so its stiff as possible and then come back half turn or so.
I was able to turn only about 1.8 turns untill they stopped (manual said 2 turns MAX and people on forums have said they go 2,5??)

Anyway, i adjusted them to full stiff (1.8 turns) and then half turn back
then i released them and other shock rebounds really fast and
other really slow???

First time i have adjustable shocks so is this normal, i didn't wanna put them on yet before asking so if i have something wrong i have to take them out again tomorrow..

Any ideas?

That difference on rebound speed between shocks got me scared a bit.
I'm gonna install them then tomorrow morning

Also if you or anyone else happen to have same koni sports, did i understood
it right as the instructions shows on pictures that front shocks are adjustable
without taking them off (open hood and turn top part from enginebay)?

I run them on my VW since 2009 and BMW since 2012 and other the rust they are problem free.
You adjust the front from the top of the strut tower unter the hood.
Also for the rear is possible to adjust them with out having to remove them from the car.
You just need the correct tools for the task:
-drive thru socket

Varying rebound speed while they are in your hand is common and usually not a problem. Fixed to a car frame with a coil spring and it all evens out!
