Is my FRM3 gone?

I was coding in some options for my e93's top to go down with the fob, and in the nfrm ecu in ncs dummy, i also added a couple of the brake light sensitivity options, for when you step on the brake hard, and rear fog options as i planned to do the button mod. I believe it was these options and not the top down one. Now, my lights and windows dont work, and NCS and INPA will not read the frm or nfrm module. (I saved the original .man and .trc file as a backup!) Is there anyway i can flash my backup on it and get it back to normal?

Looks that way I'm afraid.

Mine went 2 days after buying my n55 335i, had the same symptoms.
No lights, except daytime running lights, not electric windows, central locking alarm system plus more.
Fortunately for me the dealer sorted it but if he hadn't it would have been quite costly.

You will need to replace the module and register it to the car.
It is possible to flash the unit but you need some tech now how and the actual code, or there are people that provide the service, you can find them on eBay.

Unfortunately your frm is bad. FRM is under a 10 year 150,000 mile warranty, if you fall under that then go to the dealership and get it replaced for free

It's easily repairable.

Checkout my FRM3 Resurrection thread on this forum.

Thank you very much. At my local dealer right now, they just opened, and they took my car under warranty! I was searching all day and didn't find anything about the warranty being extended again. Your a life saver!! I was going to have to drive to NJ to get it fixed by someone I was referred to. Thanks to everyone who chimed in also.

I did see it earlier yesterday, and had some understanding, but I dont have a programmer or way to connect to the module, only through the obd2

THE FIX:
(sorry a month later, lol)

Ended up going to my BMW dealership because I read about the FRM3 Warranty being extended. Clearly stated to them that's all I would like addressed and solved, as I have the fun abs, tc, and brake light on. Anyways, dropped it off Saturday afternoon, got it Monday around noon, and came out with a wash and vacuum.

The newest update on the warranty is : 10 years, or 125k mi.

Thank you everyone who helped me out.
