That's cool, no disrespect meant. My wife is tolerant of my driving because I am pretty conservative and safe on the street, but I do push it a little bit. I'm not promoting wild street driving. Just most of us on this forum drive with "enthusiasm" at times!

Order has been placed and the GB is closed.
Hope all the e90post and M3post members could get in on this that were looking for a laser jammer.
Just saw we will be getting a lifetime warranty on these. Very proper.
Thanks for looking everyone!

One reason I hardly ever participate in GBs. Too much waiting and uncertainty for a few bucks savings.

Did you even read one post in either thread? The group buy is closed and it reached 20% off months ago. I'm glad I decided not to go through with it, I wouldve been out 480 bucks with nothing to show for it.

328i what are you talking about, I'm damn excited for my LI no matter how long it takes I'm out ~$600 and I'm happy. Everyone knew this would take forever, LI is sketchy to begin with and with an order this big a wait is just inevitable.

Alrighty, well, since we know this is moving along, I think it's finally the time where I can ask my question. When these units come in, any of you east coast guys wanna get together for an install? I don't feel 100% confident in doing it myself, but also a mini-meet/install day might be fun. Just an idea, let me know what you think

Ok, then maybe you can argue that with the guys that know more about lidar/laser devices how they are used/tested than any of your law enforcement buddies and infact would probably teach them how to do their jobs.

http://www.guysoflidar.com/florida-l...mmer-laws.html

Looks to me as if the gentleman was correct, and as for the states they are illegal there are only currently like 10 states they are illegal in.

Illinois, Virgina, District of Columbia, Nebraska is a grey area, colorado, Utah, Oklahoma, California, South carolina, Tennesse, Minnesota. Other than those states it is fair game and I still use mine in those states anyhow, as the other user stated you have to be smarter than the bear.

It's called a kill switch.. When you have gotten down to speed you hit the kill switch and allow a reading to occur that way nothing is thought of the potential jam, it was then just an akward occurence. JTGing is not intelligent and only serves to get them further banned, so please use your lidar jammers responsibly.

ALSO for those of you old stuck in your way people. This is why lidar jammers are LEGAL!

Radar Jamming is YES federally banned, although Lidar jamming is not!

Radar is totally different than Lidar hence the difference in the acronym/wording/and also spelling.

Radar stands for "RADIO" distance and Ranging. Meaning it gains its reading of the distance to your car to determine volocity by using "RADIO" waves that reflect back to the source that being the gun which then determines the Time over the Distance traveled as YOUR speed.

LIDAR stands for "LIGHT" identification distance and ranging. Meaning it uses Infrared light IE Laser beam to do the same calculations as the radar. ALthough It uses LIGHT not RADIO WAVES.

The FCC does not control Infra red light propogation, the FDA does, so There is no so called FEDERAL ban and i'd like to see your FLORDIA IDOIT cop argue it with me, i'd like to see in his lil pocket book or even his big thick book where it says "LIGHT, or LIDAR/LASER" I guarentee you as you will see by other states it merely says Radio waves, or RADAR. As most of these laws are ancient and have been on the books so long they aren't up to date, some states have chosen to statuarly ban their usage, and that is the only reason they remain illegal in those states, so get your facts straight before you go throughing useless aquaitences around to try to intimidate people.

Check the link I have posted above, it states the states that are LEGAL and the states that have passed STATUORY Laws against Lidar jamming devices. Now you can as i've stated above get away with this in these states, beleive me I own two Lidar guns myself I would know, all you see is ---- Then when you kick off the jammer you will se --69mph So It can still very easily be done with a kill switch as stated above and NO from what i have read in the laws in these states they cannot search your car or pull you over SOLELY on that bases just because it is beleived you HAVE lidar jammers, some states might just confinscate for court hearings, then they'll give you back the jammer beleive it or not but they will, the biggest fine i've seen yet is $40.00 So i'd rather take the $40.00 chance thankyou and use my kill switch even if it is illegal. Although you can think your detector will save you alone but im forewarning you it will never save you.

Remember this is all coming from a guy that has a LI Quad head A blinder extreme Quad head, Two Lidar guns, Multipule Radars too many to list, x,k,ka,vg-2 rdds such as the devices that gentlemen mentioned are used in virgina to nab detector users where it is illegal, spectra 4 is the latest threat in that regard, I am also HAM licensed and have multipule scanners, and a vast knowledge of the Radio Spectrum, and bandwidth.

Even if the officer does get a jam code Before I go, Most don't even know what it is, what it means, few choose to even read their manuals like they should they are lazy, and that goes in our benift, and im telling you they aren't going to have the manual with them while they shoot they'll just look baffeled, thats the end of it. My largest suggestion is the kill switch, and to use it wisely and properly to help keep this legal!

Also keep your ears open for legislation passing in your area and fight the good FIGHT AND KEEP LIDAR JAMMING LEGAL!

Sincerly AlPiNe~

Exclamation also.

Also rear heads are a must especially in the types of cars you guys are driving.

Check out this video of me in my saturn in indianapolis indiana, as i get rear lasered. It is becomeing very common because the Leo's aka Law enforcement officers have figured out that the heads are being placed in the front it doesn't take long to figure out when they clock you to the front and get nothing and get readings from your rear plate. SO, to those that think rear laser is bogus and isn't becomeing a MAJOR issue, check this out i now have rear interceptors on the way and a blinder m-45, as an authorized blinder laser jammer dealer, im telling you that rear laser is becoming more and more widespread and more and more deadly.

This is my prolaser 2 which is one of the two lidar guns in which i own. This gun is in KPH calibration so yes it may look like the speeds are a bit fast although Look how fast the speeds are given, and if your detector did just go off he already has your speed, and an advanced warning well that isn't liable to happen considering how tight the beam is looking through the hud as you are in this video you can actually see how tight the beam is, the circle you see thats the beam, so advanced warnings are not going to occur with laser, as you have to pick up particulates of this beam to receive an advanced warning. If you attempt to just use a detector/an detector against this type of enforcement before long you will be ticketed, and thats the facts.

Rear Lasered In a saturn SL1.

This is the second time ever targeted to the front the rest where all rear encounters this is blinder, before i received my interceptors on the front. Watch as the Leo targets me with laser and the jammers do their job and give me time to reduce my speed.
