Curious about seats, visiting from 1addicts

Hi everyone,

I'm a member over at 1addicts, have been slowly modding my car. I have the engine (fbo stage 2+) where I want it, pickup up an M3 FSB this week and getting ready to get some federal 595 rsrr's.

The only thing I hate about my car are the seats. I have the standard e82 seats and they have zero bolstering. I've been pricing seats out and have asked a few questions over at 1Addicts and have settled on getting the OEM SPORT seats.

I've seen multiple threads regarding the fitment of e90 seats in an e82, and vice versa. From what I've gleaned, part numbers are different, but the seats are the same. Can anyone confirm if the seats are indeed the same, or essentially, will all electronics fit if I swap an e90 seat into my e82? There aren't many 135i SPORT seats available since it is such a low volume car, seems to be more 335i sport seats floating around.

Thanks in advance, and if they do, and if you have some, lets chat

They'll bolt right in. Although you'll probably want e92 seats no?

No you don’t want E92 seats. E82 seats have the side airbags just like the E90 seats while E92 seats are different.

So e92's don't have side airbags in the front seats?
