Mine took 12 days from production start to waiting at the dock.

The Atlantic Concert is scheduled to arrive in Halifax on the 21st - it's possible you could have the car by the end of Jan if you make this ship.

Well went to the dealership today and the status said production completed.
I was really impressed by how quickly it was built.
And from what i understood it's being released for distribution today as well.
So i'm praying that it makes the boat on the 31rst of December.
I'm just wondering how long it takes to get from the factory to the shipping dock...

3 days from status 90 to 93 for my experience:

AG Status 90 (dispatched) on the 11th
AG Status 93 (at port) on the 14th

Having said that I think the AG Info lags by about 2 days:

WW Cargo Tracking - received at terminal 12th
WW Cargo Tracking - loaded on vessel 14th

So by the time you're status 93 you should have been at the port for 2 days already, and quite possibly already on a ship!

Some more data ...

Mine was production week 48 - last week Nov/first week Dec (if I'm reading the production number correctly).

Here's what the VIN gave me on the wilhelmsen website. My car was on the Asian King.

STATUS ** PORT ** TIME
DISCHARGED ** HALIFAX, NS ** 21/12/2006 16:50
LOADED ON VESSEL ** HALIFAX, NS ** 09/12/2006 10:00
RECEIVED AT TERMINAL ** HALIFAX, NS ** 07/12/2006 10:00
BOOKED ** HALIFAX, NS ** 27/11/2006 09:00

So assuming it was booked at start of production, it took 10 days to produce and bring it to dock. Another 2 days before loading on the ship and only 13 days to sail from Germany to Halifax!

The car should be in the west coast sometime mid-Jan hopefully.

Does the tracking on the wilhelmsen website start once the car is on the ship and it has sailed or do they receive prior info before loading the ship and input the info on their website then.
Just wondering if i'll be able totrack only when it's on the ship and it has sailed...

Cargo tracking is available only after the vehicle has been loaded on the vessel.

Well i checked the website and there is no info available on my cargo.
My vin doesn't bring up anything.
So i guess my car didn't make it on the boat on the 31rst.
That sucks soooo badly!!
The next boat is only on the 7th of January.
So my car will only arrive on the 21rst instead of the 14th.
Some might say a week is nothing but trust me after waiting 3 1/2 months an extra week feels like an eternity !!

I know exactly how an extra week feels - especially when you thought you were getting the car a certain date. But at least it looks like I'll be getting $4 per month off the lease as compensation

Anyone know when the tracking is avaiable on the W. website?
My car should have been loaded on the boat today the 7th of January...
From the info on the W. website it says the vessel has left already.
It will make three stops before heading via the Atlantic to Halifax...
So i\m wondering if the tracking info wil only show up once it\s made all its stops or if it should have showed up already (as soon as ythe boat sailed).

You can track the progress of the vessel by looking at the schedule of the Vehicle on the web site. It gets updated as it makes the Stops.
