I dont think it's a meet, by my guess 3ric is a noob at e90post (yes maybe even more than me) and doesnt know how to work the forums and made an "event" by accident.

He also probably also drives an RSX-S (judging by his avatar) and hangs out at clubrsx most of the time. He is probably only here looking for a set rims because his younger sister (who drives an e90 330i) wants to get rims, but has no idea how to use the intrenets for anything other than FB.

That is just my guess though.
