Do you really believe you can feel a 3700lb car against an 80,000lb trailer barely connected to you cab? I don't even feel my trailer hitting speed bumps.. I have to constantly check the mirrors to see if I am all clear.

What the truck driver thought he saw during the merge I cannot defend, nor can I defend the OP's position in the lane. Both can be at fault. I am pretty sure that truck driver would have more than stopped if he knew he hit someone.

Yeah, not gonna feel a thing. I've hit some stuff with the trailer quite violently and I don't feel it at all.

I guess we can all have an opinion, even if he did not feel anything, like you said, don't you think he would have seen a half rack car in his review mirror and put the two together? I just had a bad experience where i know for sure a truck driver saw me and decided to hit me anyway so i will always be suspicious.

I can believe he did not feel hitting me, but use your damn mirrors for a second! He would have see it happen.
