Hello .I have a problem with my E93 2008 . When I m trying to retract my hard top everything works fine ,the whole roof gets in the trunk but after that, the trunk wont close. It remains up in the air .Any ideea why and what a solution would be?

Most likely you have something that is blocking it from fully closing, sometimes even if you put things under the trunk cover it wont allow to fully close.

Hey manuaa98 ... did you ever get this resolved? If so, what was your root cause and resolution?

I have the same issue w/ my '13 E93. I couldn't find anything on the forums and was in a pinch so I just dropped it off at the dealer

Hoping they don't rape me!

Any updates on this issue? I have a very similar issue....My retraction process PAUSES right after the retracted roof assembly gets into the trunk leaving the trunk opened... I then hear an error chime (standard BMW error chime) ..... I release the retract button and resume to pull it again. The trunk now closes.

I don't have any issues or a pause when putting the top back on.

The retraction process used to be 1 fluid motion but now I have pause right before the trunk closes. Anyone experienced the same or similar thing? What was the fix or what seems go be wrong? TIA guys!
