I was going to replace the original faded black one with another black one but at the last second thought to myself, what the hell, go red lol. I like a splash of colour anyway........not that you can see much of it from the drivers seat! My reason for posting really was to show your faded worn original can be replaced easily and cheaply and the quality is fine.

No. You have to remove the whole switch from the dash, prize off the chrome ring then prize off the original black cover. The red one just clips back on and looks identical apart from the colour obviously. Backlight is exactly the same. I'd say the whole process took me 20-30 minutes.

Mine is starting to do that and I find it mildly irritating! I have some carbon vinyl that I used on my dash so might just use that....
