E91 - Tonneau Cover

Do any of you E91 owners have intermittant (sp) problems with your Tonneau cover opening when you open the glass portion of your boot lid?

Sometimes mine opens, other times it doesn't ! You know, usually when it's pi$$ing down and you're in a hurry to get things in and out....

Just wondered, will mention it when I take it for service. Speaking of which the service indicator states 4700 till next service. That will mean I've had an interval of 17.5K miles since the last service - fantastic !!

I haven't had any problems with the cover not opening. They did however replace the whole cover assy when I complained of a rattle from the boot area.

I've done just over 3k now, but the service indicator hasn't dropped from 16k to go yet!

Touchwood I've been trouble free - so that will mean over 21K miles without incident

I got 53.3mpg on the trip after a fill-up the other day - couldn't believe it

We understand you

The only real problem I've had was the 320d that used me as brakes

I'm doubting it will stay that way though
