I need to get me a V1, sounds like thats the favorite around here....but i wanted to see where everyone is mounting their V1's

And for you reference - picture, from that same thread, of the most common place to mount V1 (hard-wired).

I have mine mounted exactly there.

Does anyone put it on the right side of the rear-view mirror?

It seems like that would be a less distracting position for it while driving...unless the angle is such that you can't view it from the driver's seat.

i've seen some pics posted on the right side of the mirror..didnt look bad..so one day i moved it to see how it looked. it wasnt bad but i was used to having it on the driver side. plus i like it there becuase if i wna hit the mute button..pretty quick to get to..didnt like reaching over and hittin the button...pesonal preference though..
