Door handles

Hello i see you have the same problem as i had on my 330 e90, i went to my bmw dealership in sweden and they said no problem there in a kampajn on the back handles so you will get new ones.
So now i have new ones and they work great, but this was in sweden, talk to the dealership and maybe you have the same luck as me.

Mine was quickly sorted by my dealer. It's a bit worrying because the door doesn't latch and can easily fly open!

After warranty, I suppose I'll just use the lithium grease as suggested above.
Funny I am going through the same exact issue now. Personally I think they just lubed them and called it a day. This time when they replace them I want to see the old ones. All 4!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, since this thread was revived I might as well post in it.

Is this ONLY covered under warranty? I just got my '06 330xi and all four doors are suffering from this. I'm long out of warranty and nowhere near the dealer the car originated from. Can I still get this replaced by BMW or will I have to foot the bill for it? If I'm going to have to do that I might just do it myself.

Also, is there a single place where I can easily find access to warranty/recall issues that apply to my specific car? My passenger airbag sensor is fubared too and always think's someone is sitting there.

Had same problem on 3 out of 4 of my exterior door handles on my 2006 325i. Luckily under warranty still, and all 4 exterior door handles will be replaced.

Sprayed PTFE WD-40 in the handle and it no longer sticks. Will see how long it lasts. 2006 325i, Canadian Ontario weather. 265kkm.

This

Didn't read the rest of the thread, but mine started doing the same thing a while back. It works.

Started doing this with the snow tire change, along with the key hole and other various door, hood, everything-that-moves-and-is-exposed-to-winter parts.
