New 320d Se How to improve sound

HI

I have the standard system with BT telelphone The sound is really quite poor..and changing the headunit would loose the BT and other features. HAs anyone tried better speakers? If so which? and how improvment did it make?

Dont much care for the new lexus but the stereo system is just awsome...listen up BMW!

Thanks
alan

I would use the JL Audio Cleansweep and then add an amp and speakers, plus a further amp and subwoofer if you want more bass. You will keep all functionality and have a near perfect source for the amps.

It provides a perfect signal from a factory head unit to an aftermarket amp and speakers. This enables you to keep all the convenience of the factory features and hook up to the best quality amp and speakers you desire.

Yeah, the cleansweep is awesome, but aren't the speakers in the E90 pretty much impossible to replace due to thier strange and small size? I've been told you'd have to build out some custom kickpanels or the like to fit decent aftermarket speakers in there.

I don't know - I've got the Logic 7 thankfully. If you don't, I think that the cleansweep is the starting point though becuase so much is integrated into the factory head unit.
