Does this look like a blown head gasket?

95k miles. running mhd beta stage 2 93 for last two weeks. been running mhd for around a year no issue until now. I turn off my car see some smoke. I see coolant boiling around my value cover and near the ignition coils. I've never seen this happen to an n54.

thoughts? took a look in my coolant tank. its pretty oily. haven't looking much into it yet. car didn't smoke out of the exhaust at all. before this.

I swear this is crazy.... I was going through the exact same problem last week. I was running Version 8 beta stage 1+ and running it hard and taking logs... when I got back home and parked... I heard a boiling sound under hood so i took a look. Right away I noticed blue antifreeze at the spark plug area and almost cried. I thought it was a head gasket for sure. Next morning i checked the coolant level and it was still good and tried to see if it was any oil in it but didn't see any.So I cleaned it up with paper towels and a lil brake cleaner to see if it would come back. Coincidentally I had went back to MHD version 7 stage 1 because of Overboost that same morning and I haven't noticed the blue coolant since. I did just have my stock turbos replaced by a shop early December so i thought maybe they spilled some coolant in that area by mistake or something. Maybe it was Version 8 doing something to the car? IDK... Gonna post my video of it when i get a chance.

if you are leaking that much coolant through the head, you would have hydrolocked already.

if you had your car worked on recently, my guess is that someone spilled some coolant on the valve cover.

Thats what I assume also... at least thats what I hope!!! But only did it while on Version 8 that one time, never seen before that or after and I've been under the hood a good amount of times since the new turbos. I just couldn't wrap my mind where the coolant could be coming from. If coolant made it pass the pistons and up to the spark plug area it definitely would be miss firing or something but it still runs smooth soooo.... wonder how the OP made out with this situation.

Bringing it to my shop tomorrow. Will update when i know more. Shop says probably not head gasket as the head gasket is alot lower. Which is true. So we will see. Really surprised exact same problem happend to another person running beta map. Hard for me to believe that if i go back to the older maps itll fix things. I want to know how the fuck coolant got there.

A map has nothing to do with coolant showing up on your engine.
