Anyone a member on BMWCCA ???

I found a car in the classifieds on there that I really want to get in contact with the owner about, but you have to be a paid member of the site in order to get contact info. Crazy. And it ain't cheap either!

Anyone willing to help me out??

Thanks so much!!

What are the benefits? I looked into it when i bought my first BMW, but they don't have a very active chapter in my neck of the woods.

10% discount on labor at participating shops

Host track days, HPDEs, handling classes, and tech sessions.

The Rondel magazine is nicely done for the price of membership.

Please don’t forget about the vehicle rebates. The amount can help pay for an extra option on a new car.

I really enjoy reading Roundel which is one of the main reasons I keep a membership. The local club has some great people and fun events.

This! I joined last December and I never realized how much stuff the CCA does and how great the people are. And like some have said, Roundel (the monthly magazine) is work the price in and of itself. I'm a member and can help if needed.

Just because I was curious to know how much a BMWCCA membership cost, I looked it up. It's $48/year or cheaper per year if you pay for a couple years at a time.

https://www.bmwcca.org/sites/default.../docs/join.pdf

That's not too bad, although I wouldn't buy the membership just to find out about a car. It does sound like a decent deal otherwise.

Yeah, it's super cheap to join and I would recommend it. You're not going to miss the $4/mo.

Heads up though; BMW is wise to people signing up just to get the discount, so their fine print carries a "1-year membership prior" clause. Also I don't think the discounts stack (i.e. if you are a recent grad or military).

Yes there is that fine print.

A few years ago the discounts did stack. I’m not sure if things have changed. I recall adding on a BMW loyalty discount of $500 in addition to the $1k for my M6GC. That went towards for the executive package option.
