1. Remove wire 19 and 20 from the small black sub-connector.
2. Cap either wire 19 or 20.
3. Connect which ever is left from #2, either wire 19 or 20, to the voltage divider.
4. Connect the output wire of the voltage divider to both pins 19 and 20.

Am I missing anything here, well aside from going to Fry's and buying the resistors.
Yep.. that's it.

Shiv,
Considering a lot of us, including myself, have Terry's O2 simms and would like to use those since we already have them with the V3 pnp harness, would we follow the same approach as we did originally only this time pinnining in/out wires from your harness?? These simms intercept pins 19&20 on the smaller ECU black subconnector and pin 32 on the larger ECU black subconnector. I'm guessing the 32 pin intercept isn't required as this is signal ground (you mentioned this earlier).

You can simply install it in the PnP harness. That way it becomes part of the harness and can be installed/removed easily. And no messing with stock wiring. Might as well tap into Pin 32 since it is designed with that in mind.

Is it a simple pin in/out excercise or will I have to solder?

Simple pin out. No soldering involved.

Thanks! The hard part is figuring out what pin has what signal and what type of signal...I wish I had insider hook up.

Above Vishnu stated this is for "fully catless". Running catless DP but retaining stock exhaust with secondary cats will require this O2 simm as well. Correct??

If you throw a code, go for the o2 sim. If you don't, no reason to anything

Roger that. Never realized there was a chance I may not see the codes with only catless DP.

You probably will. But i've always been a big proponent of 'if it aint broke, don't fix it' approach

help me understand

So, if you have a V3 and later install DP you would not install 02 sim during installation.....
Only IF you throw a code??...Am I understanding this?

You can do it immediately upon dp install if you'd like. No harm in that.

Quick question....

Im doing this right now, but not starting from a V3 PnP like some others. Its actually a V2.1 made into V3 non PnP.

Before I change anything, I want to let you know how its currently setup.

Small Black Sub Assembly
Terminal 6 (525, Yellow/White) – Yellow Pair 1, B1S1 O2 Sensor, Output PROcede Grey 1
Terminal 7 (Yellow/White) – Yellow Pair 2, B2S1 O2 Sensor, Output PROcede Grey 1
Terminal 19 – O2 Sim – Input PROcede Grey 11, Output PROcede Grey 1
Terminal 20 – O2 Sim - Input none to PROcede, Output PROcede Grey 1

1) Should I completely disconnect 6 and 7 from the Procede and ECU?
2) For the o2 sims signal ground, just tap into Pin 32, or is there a ground already on the procede I can tap into. (stupid question maybe?)

Thanks

1) No, leave 6 and 7 in place. Those are for the wideband attenuation circuit. Only touch 19 and 20.

2) Just tap into the PROcede ground wire. That is easy enough and readily available.

Here's a pic of what my buddy built with his spare V1/V2 parts lying around. Can he just plug the white (10K Resistor wire) Female terminal into Pin #32 to signal ground?

Yes. If the white wire ends in a "T".

Shiv, great news.....

After dicking with the beta V2.1 o2 sims for 2 months and getting nowhere with O2/Cat readiness, I FINALLY got things worked out.

This new sim fix worked like a charm. I got readiness in a matter of a 10 min drive. I knew I wasnt retarded all along I noticed when taking apart the V2.1 o2 sim harness that a wire was chopped off, taped ,and going nowhere. Was that supposed to be like that? I guess it doesnt matter anyway! Case closed.

Thanks again.

Yes, one wire in the o2 sim harness is supposed to be dead-ended. Did u get it from us? I don't remember ever sending out more than a couple o2 sim harnesses for beta guys.
