Question Car won't start after changing interior bulbs

Hi everyone, I recently 'upgraded' all my interior bulbs on my 05 E91 330D to LED's. Everything looked great until I went to pull the car forward to change the bulbs in the boot (trunk) only to find the car no longer started. Ignition comes on as normal and everything seems perfectly fine, but when I press the start button the car cranks once and then everything shuts off and it restarts. I have tried jump starting but only have access to a 1.6l petrol Nissan Juke that I'm thinking just doesn't enough juice to start a 3.0l diesel.

I'm gonna try taking all the LEDs out and replacing the standard ones tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered something similar to this and might be able to save me from having to take each bulb one by one until the car starts or, worse case scenario, it still doesn't start and I have to get it towed to a mechanic.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I can't see LEDs causing a no start condition. Did you check your battery voltage? Might just be really bad timing and you're battery is toast. Did you double check all the connections at the battery?

Toss it on a battery charger and see what happens.

I will try charging overnight but I've only got a 4amp charger that claims to be "for petrol engines up to 1200cc" so might not cut it. I'm aware there aren't many warning signs leading up to battery failure but I've never had any electrical problems before and the obvious thing to me seems to be, if you've changed something and it doesn't work anymore then change it back. And, like you say, it would have to be very bad timing considering I drove it the day before I installed the lights and it was perfectly fine.

Might also be worth adding, a few days ago I changed the halogen headlight bulbs out for LED replacements and experienced no problems with those.
