New owner from Kentucky
I picked up a 2007 335i e92 monaco blue 6mt about 2 months ago with 24k on the clock. I figured I would introduce myself since I have been watching these forums for quite some time. I live in Mt. Washington, Ky which borders Metro Louisville. I am a 34 year old collision technician by trade and have owned various Bmw's for the last 18 years. I've owned 8 e30's, 3 e34's, and 1 e23 over the years and have driven most of the m cars from 1988 to present. Besides the e92 I just bought, I enthuse on the older 911's. I have an all factory steel turbo bodied 1982 911sc that I hope to finish someday. I also like diesel trucks and have a 24v Cummins Dodge with a few parts on it. I have to say I'm absolutely in love with my 335i. It seems to do everything really well. For an almost stock car, the handling, acceleration and braking are superb. All this coming from a guy who had the opportunity to drive a 2008 911 gt2. Of course the Bmw isnt quite the sports car the gt2 is but it is still is a very exciting car to drive. All in all, I think Bmw did a great job with this platform and I have no buyers remorse.
