335iA Owners: Alpina B3 Transmission Flash!

Hey Everyone,
Some of you may have been following what's going on in N54 forum, but for those of you who haven't, here's the deal:

A couple of US forum members have figured out how to access the TCU which controls automatic transmission logic and have uploaded the Alpina software that is specifically designed for tuned N54's. User feedback has been phenomenal. Many members say the difference is like the very first time they tuned their N54's. Shifts are faster, crisper, and more aggressive - a night and day difference from the stock setup.

I'm currently in the States and had the opportunity to ride in a car that has been flashed -all I can say is WOW. I can't say i regret owning a manual, but if I owned an auto, this is the way I'd want it to drive.

The good news is that I can help you get the software loaded onto your car once I get back to Hong Kong mid-March. I've already had a few local members PM me about this, so if you would like to get on the list, please whatsapp me +852 6600 2895.

This flash works on all N54 powered cars with automatics. So if you have a 1 series, 5 series, or Z4, this will work for you

If I recall, the TCU unit is the Teleclimatics Unit. Which is for telephone related.

I think the B3 flash would be great, I personally did the EURO SMG flash on my old E46 M3 before, worlds difference. 4K launch control too

That's awesome! Are you familiar with coding on the E9x platform? Getting into the TCU is a little more complicated than performing basic codes. If you mess up, you could. brick the transmission. Just be careful and good luck.

I've been familiar with coding before it was even discovered on E90post. Like I mentioned before I have flashed my E46 M3 to EURO SMG long long time ago.

If your 335i was manufactured before 3/07, this flash will not work on your car, otherwise you're fine.

This flash has been tried on the N55 with no major issues, but I doubt it will perform as intended on a N52 because the power band is different.

This is for AT N54's. you have a MT S65, so you're wayyyy out of luck

You will not be able to flash this update all because the car will be produced before 03/07. Therefore the transmission ecu is not compatible with the Alpina B3 flash.
