I asked because I noticed a lot of body movement on the photos you posted. I'm on yellow BMW performance springs and is lit less then on yours.

This will sound strange to most, but I like body movement on a BMW. I also tow a trailer and cannot lower the car without running into problems.

I don't mind the movements much either. I have learned how to utilize the long wheel base and how to rotate the car with the RWD. Most drivers are uncomfortable with body movements and rely mostly on mechanical grip to get the car to turn. I have home made 4 point harness that keeps me in the seat. Moving around in manual transmission is extra challenging. In auto transmission car you can always grab the steering wheel with both hands.

I have the Schroth Rally 4 harness's. Wow, a driver that thinks like I do.

But how much of that is due to the front lip? I didn't think factory sport suspension was that low where you'd have to worry about ground clearance?

It's been a long time, so here is a quick update. I had the car at a local builder for a custom half cage. I took a pic after first layer of Rustoleum rattle can:

Got my car vinyl wrapped with the new 1M front-end. Pics from Willow Springs, I'm avoiding that track until winter, 110* ambients are not fun.

Put wheels on to lower the jack because I had a city guy complain that it was unsafe to leave the car up for a long time. A few more things left to do but still on schedule for 2019 March visit at VIR.
