Hi,

i got my car with few scuffs on the passenger door.
it's like the previous owner parked next to the same car and got hit few many times.
no paint damage, no dents, just surface scuffs that show pretty well on black sapphire paint.
can someone please advise what is the best way to remove these.

You will have to use an abrasive polish or compound with the proper pad to remove the paint imperfections. You can also try a OTC (Over the Counter) Clay Bar system....usually sold at your major auto part stores. Either one of those processes will remove the imperfections.

^agreed. Depending on how deep they are, something like Meguiar's M105 and an Orange cutting pad would probably do the trick. If you don't have access to a polisher, a rubbing compound or possibly even wet sanding with 1500 or 2000 grit sand paper might be necessary. I wouldn't recommned doing the wet sanding yourself though. Post some pics and someone might be able to guide you a little better.

Those all look like imperfections that would be taken care of using a polish like the Meguiar's M105 that I was talking about earlier. You'll get the best results with a polisher if you know someone that might let you borrow it if you don't have one. Otherwise you can try some rubbing compound, but it's a little more abrasive than the polishes are, so I would be a little more careful with that. You could apply the compound by hand. I'm by no means a pro at this stuff, but that's the route I would take with my car. Good luck and keep us posted.

I would say this is closer to the M105. http://en.meguiarscanada.com/product/386
The Swirl Remover 2.0 would be a good candidate to use after the Heavy-Cut Cleaner though. It will polish out the fine scratches that may be left over and leave a nice shine. This process is going to take some work, so don't be discouraged if you don't see results immediately. And you'll still have better results using a polisher than by hand. Make sure you put a sealant or wax over the areas polished at a minimum, you may opt to do the whole car if you get good results.
