How'd I Do? 2011 328i Coupe M-Sport
A few weeks ago I picked up a 2011 328i Coupe M-Sport 6-speed, 57,000 miles, Alpine white with saddle brown interior. Only options it has are leather seats and HK Logic 7. No sunroof, which I'm fine with.
Paid $16,700 out the door at a Subaru Dealer. |

Despite what the 335i elitists might say, that's a great car. Saddle brown is the best color interior, msport is great, and MT is fantastic. Sunroof is just added weight, better off without it. Check out the NA section, you have the perfect candidate for modding.

I meant for price. One member here is selling a 335i e93 for 12k. Car's fine. But thats twice what I would have paid. And if you want fast, its not happening.

$12,900. Another one 60 miles from my house under $13k. Both 6mt. Both 60 something k miles. Or you could get a 2009 335i, add lci stuff, and still save. |

Congrats on the new ride. Despite owning an M-Sport 335, I'm looking to get into that exact car . . . LCI E92 328i M-Sport; 6-speed makes it even better!

I just thought almost 17k for a 328 e92 anything sounds overpriced when you can get basicallt the same car for much less, add lci bumps etc, and still pocet a bunch of coin, or even upgrade to a vert, 335i, do the same, and still save. We were looking for one of the guys down here at a white e93 335i vert, red interior, 6mt, oem and aftermarket wheels, msport bumps, lci tails, oem 189 wheels and aftermarket wheels, bunch of fbo stuff, about 100k miles, clean carfax, for $12k.
Cars fine. Not my pick but still fine. |

And he didn't ask what I thought of the car. He asked what I thought of the deal.

I check the market on Sport and M-Sport 6-speeds in a 500 mile radius of my home for a month. Nothing could be found in the spec and miles I wanted under $15,000. There is no way I'm going to do a front and rear LCI conversion either. That's $2-3k once done properly. (F&R Bumpers, headlights, tails, and hood. You are talking trade in prices at $13-14k or desperate private party prices. I've got other fun cars to play with (air cooled 911) and don't need the hassle of a high maintenance queen like a 335i as a daily. |

In my area you could have had that car for $14k and that's before haggling. Manual, no nav, and no sunroof cuts the price down a bit too.. Auto tranny option alone was like an extra $700 or $800. Good call on the sunroof though, just more shit that can go wrong. |

It is a manual anf msport is only a looks package. Not $2k worth either. Bottomline is you got a bad deal. $2-3k bad. But enjoy your car.

What'sthat all about? I didn't insult your car. I said it was overpriced and a bad deal. And my "boat" has 700 hp. I do enjoy it very much thanks. I did today enjoying the 85F weather with the roof down thx.
