Andy,

Potluck style dude. You are not expected to bring enough beer for all of us (20+). If everyone bring a little bit of something, then there should be plenty for all. I just wanted to start a list so we don't have everyone showing up with the same thing. Some ideas:

-paper plates and utensils
-drinks
-hamburger
-hotdogs
-chicken
-desserts
-fingers foods

Agreed, we should make up a list and make sure everything's accounted for. A few of us can go and grab the stuff.

I can fetch the burgers and stuff Friday night so that it can be put on the grill right away, and at least something is cooking in the meantime.

ready for coding!

I just tested an updated version of the BMW software. works well on my car (2008) and with the updates we should be good with 2012 cars too. Everything zips to a 200MB file. If anyone with a cable wants a copy of this then bring a laptop or portable disk. Atown and I will meet tomorrow night to try it out - if his ECU doesn't melt then I'll see you on Saturday

I'll have a cheat sheet for all of the coding options in my post on page 2. if you want something other than that i hope you will print out the codes or at least a forum post with the steps required. And don't forget a USB stick so you can keep a backup of your stock ECU and coded settings.

I'll also have a release form for each of you to sign.. hope you're cool w/that.

If my ECU melts, it will give me a well enough excuse to buy an M3. They cost about the same right?

Wondering if I should make this. My car had the alarm installed and apparently the Siren isn't being recognized. Once the replacement part comes in, they'll be programming the alarm to the car. Afraid if I get all the coding done, that it'll get erased.

I'm screwed. I tweaked something in my back a couple weeks ago and it hasn't gotten better. Saw the doc and got a MRI, which showed a herniated disc. I'm basically stuck eating vicodin and limping from the bed to the couch until I can get a discectomy next week. Then I'll really be SOL for another 2+ weeks.

All that means i'm not going anywhere for about 3 weeks. Sorry I won't be able to help out Saturday.

Thumbs up Change od plans

I will only have enough space for one car. I have clients car in my garage. I did an awesome paint correction by the way. So that will only leave one side availiable. I still have extention cords (2). So if you corders need more bring them. Also whats the status on the food? I make some pretty awesome wings BBQ in general. Anyways looking forward to seeing you guys on saturday.

I suggest everybody bring the food with them that way we can spark up yhe grill on arrival.

Codes will be overwritten by dealer. I can't do feature refitting on Saturday. I don't have enough experience and we are short on time

I would really like to join in on this. Unfortunate I’ll be taking my car up to Broad strokes in the morning as its needing a little TLC. But if I get out of there in time. I would love to stop by and bring some chicken.

Is the meet still on w/ the rain in the forecast?

I haven't seen anyone mention coding for the "DVD in Motion"
