Can't reset micro filter service after CIC retrofit
Retrofited CIC C1A and dash into my 06 E90 that did not have i-drive. I am now getting a service required error on start. The service looks to me micro filter based on the dash however CIC does not identify it. I can't reset via the stalk. Dates/mileages are blank. Where is the coding not lining up?
Thanks |

After 03/07, they removed microfilter from CBS, and now recommend that it be replaced every oil change.
Try setting the parameter "CBS_STAT_04H" to "sperre" in the KMBI module using NCSExpert. That will remove it from the cluster and CIC screen, but there likely isn't a way to make it display properly because CBS on CIC never included it.

Thanks for the reply. In kombi I set CBS_STAT_04H to sperre and CBS_SCEN_04H to nicht_aktiv. Error is gone from both areas.
