I might have a bumper skin painted titanium silver coming off my car in the near future. It’s in need of a refinish but perfectly usable condition

I've been looking for one too for a while, finally I bit the bullet and had my friend at the dealer order one up. The diffuser and moulding above that I found on Ebay cheaper then my cost at the dealer.
Another option I looked at was believe it or not Rockauto has the part number and stock on the bumper cover for around $300., I thought I'd give it a shot since you can return their stuff. When I tried to order it, it gave me an error code that they couldn't ship it to California? WTF ?Oh well... |

I saw the bumper on Rock Auto as well. The problem I have with that is, both Rock Auto and CarID have the same exact description and part number on their sites. I ordered one from CarID and was sent a regular non sport bumper. When I called them to tell them what I was sent, they told me to destroy the one I was sent and that the sport bumper is on back order with no indication of when or if it might ever be available.
I checked with my local dealership last week. The want $800 for just the bumper without the diffuser and said it has to be shipped from Germany. Looks like the best/cheapest option right now is ECS Tuning. I wish I would have ordered one from Ebay a while back when they were going for around $475 shipped. |
