What was your price for a 335i e90?

I went to two places yesterday looking for a e90. Test drove an auto didnt like it and then i found a M package, stick shift , loaded with navi, parking sensors etc.

Salesman quoted me at 47k plus tax so around 52k OTD. I know i can get a better deal than that. My aunt has a 04 330Ci with the M sport package no Navi. She paid 46k OTD. I know its been 5 years but not 7k increase. I would appreciate some knowledge of what you guys paid. PM me your prices OTD if you like thanks.

First place i went to was New Century Alhambra because thats where my dad are leasing his 535i's hoping to get a better price but salesman said he has to order it.

Second was Assael in Monrovia. Got the quote there.

Whats the MSRP of the car you were quoted?

Also, the price of a car in 2004 really has no reflection on price of a car now/ what you should pay for it.

So true, the car market is always in a constant state of flux, and what someone paid the previous week for a given car may or may not have any bearing on what a good deal is at a given moment.

No, MSRP of the car WITH options. Not the base price.

Run down what options it has and we can better help give you an idea.

lets just say it adds up to 50k, There was a green price tag of 47700 plus tax. he said he'll give me $200 off which was not much. I believe the salesman thought it was a guaranteed sale so he wouldnt bargain would us. He said things like we are not here to play games etc. I will be talkin to different people again until i get a decent price or place an order.

He said that? I would have got up and left right then. Its not a game, its called a negotiation. If he won't deal, there are plenty of other dealers in California who will. See how long it takes him to give you a call offering a deal if he thinks you are off to purchase elsewhere. I'm sure he will give you the old "Oh my boss just allowed me to make an exception...he has NEVER done this before, I was blown away..." Its all BS...damn stealerships. Believe me, the price IS negotiable.

Yeah I understand the "let me ask the manager etc BS" My dad is a wholesale distributor we know how it works except we don't rip people off. I spoke to the same salesman my aunt bought her car from, he told me there's a new special which is 1000 off every 335i. Sounds good but not good enough. so far none of you told me your prices yet haha. I just wanted to get an idea of what people paid out the door, not 500 under invoice and such. I want something to compare to or if possible show your price as proof to get the same deal or better.

I don't get it?? price your car out on edmunds and look for the invoice. Then you take 500 under invoice - 1200 rebate being offered right now w/ the 2.9% I don't understand all this OTD B.S. Tax/title /reg is non negotiable but the price of the vehicle is. I just purchased mine over the weekend for 500 below invoice but w/o an incentive b/c it was a 328i...but my deal on an 335i w/msrp of 45,100 was easily cut down to 41,000-1200 rebate over the phone w/ the internet sales dept. that's a total of $5100 in 5 min over the phone...and they did honor it when I came in...but the wife chose the 328(msrp of 39100 purchased for 35900) (cheaper for me)

just call the dealerships and ask for the internet sales dept, and don't deal with the lot salesmen
here was mine...
