Looking to stay out of trouble, so I plan to start autocross. Any pointers concerning our cars? Anyone in the DC area with suggestions on events? Thx.

If you haven't already, sign up for the National Capitol Chapter of the BMW CCA. They host events, autocross, driver schools, DIYs, etc., year round. Always good to sign up early, events sell out. Make sure to check the requirements on their website too (helmet, keeping the car empty of junk, etc.).

I've been slacking attending myself, but the 335is should be a blast at autox.

Thanks for the info. Was looking at the club you mentioned. Seems like the way to go. Thanks!

Just A Heads up to my fellow 335is Owners!
My HPFP went out this weekend and I just found out that the HPFP Extended Warranty does not include the N54T motors in the 335is and 1M.
BMW did not included them even though the N54T uses the same HPFP as the N54.

Are you DCT or 6 speed? And how does the car feel now with the added mods compared to stock form?

That's a bum deal. Your dealer or BMW NA tell you that?

I'm pretty sure when I got my letter from BMW NA saying it did when I had my 335is that even had my VIN on it.

Gave it away with the paperwork when I sold my iS, anyone still have theirs?

This is DCT. It feels like a rocket ship they way it pulls. I am shooting for about 450HP in the spring and then I think I will be pretty much done.

Both the Dealer and the BMWNA Rep told me that.

Extended Warranties are VIN Specific, and my parts guy at the local dealer confirmed it.

The Only Extended Warranty on the car presently is the Air Intake Charge Pipe.

I've got some paperwork at home.. Can't help you for a few weeks though sorry. We have the hpfp at least for '11 along with the FRM module for extended warranty.. As well as our fuel injectors

That's interesting... I just checked bmw's reimbursement program and my 2012 only shows fuel injectors, frm, and intake charge pipe. nothing about hpfp. let me know if any of you guys see differently when checking on this site. just put in the last 7 of your vin.

That looks like an Extended Warranty that you buy at Purchase time, Not the extended warranty forced by the class action law suit.

I don't think it is fair. What they are telling you is that the N54T was not on the bulletin. The bulletin says N54 for x years, it does not expressly exclude the N54T. Plus, it is the same engine configuration when it comes to the hpfp. Tell BMWNA (a manager that can raise it to legal) thqt there are 7,000 N54Ts, that if they are not going to cover us, you'll give a call to the attorneys that won/settled the HPFP class action and that you'll ask them what they can do for us. If I was faced with that I would just authorize the work and move forward. My rule is to get at least 3 NO before moving on. Good luck!!!

I don't think it is fair either, but I can't just leave it there pending litigation.
I called BMWNA, they escalated it to Supervisor who called the dealer and talked to the Service Manager. Service Manager called in my Service Rep and my friend in Parts and together they put the reduced price plan together.
It's not fair at all, and Maybe this is why BMW changed the designation of the N54 to N54T in the last couple of years of production for the 335is and 1M to side step the Class Action Law Suit.
I should research who the attorneys were for the Class Action Lawsuit and see what they think.
Car is back Home now and seems to be doing well.

The N54T actually has differences to it compared to the N54
