Getting my popcorn ready for this auction, it’s been a while since BaT had an LCI 6MT. Best of luck with the auction! |

E91 2006 325XI Manual
hey fellow long roof enthusiasts, i have a bit of a predicament and i thought i would post here to see if there is any interest. I want to list this car as honestly as possible and hopefully have someone who wants to save it.
I have a 2006 E91 325XI manual with 208,000 miles on it. I purchased this car sight unseen last fall for a few thousand dollars. Since then I have had a local shop help me bring it back to life. Here are some of the work that has been done:
I have receipts and proof of work for the car. I'm sure there are other things I have forgot and will add to the list. Here are some issues the car still has that have not been fixed yet:
The reason I am selling the car is it developed a rod knock while driving home one evening, there was no money shift or any signs of why it happened. I have a blackstone labratories oil analysis that was done 1,000 miles ago that did not show any failure. I have a lot of labor time and parts invested in the car and Im not sure i want to pay for a shop to replace the motor. The car is higher miles but is very clean and was a NJ car most of its life before i bought it from a dealer in PA and had it shipped to me. there are some dings and dents but its still quite the looker. Im hoping someone who would like to do the work themselves is interested in purchasing the car and continue saving these rare manual wagons. I am entertaining offers knowing that the car most likely needs a new motor but I also have around $7,000 into the car. pictures attached below: |

I am, thanks. That’s just about what I had listed it here for (20,750) and what I wanted if I wasn’t going to keep the car. The auction was fun. Great to see all the other wagon nuts out there. I had a lot of interest both on and off line. Looking forward to meeting the new owner next week. Seems like a good guy with a good home for it.

2011 328i xDrive
-Space Gray -Black interior with brushed aluminum interior trim -Sport seats and steering wheel with paddle shifters -Adaptive xenons -PDC and adaptive cruise control -Gloss black Shadow Line trim Looks like a nice highway cruiser for work, etc. What do people think of the price? Obviously not a manual, but for a clean sport automatic, thoughts? https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...CALERTSEMLSRCH

Price is a good starting point. It also has NAV and OEM wheels style 189. Looks very nice, IMHO.

Portland, Oregon Craigs List
For some reason, there are a few e91s on the Portland, Oregon Craigs List right now. Nothing particularly awesome, but one around $6k that does not look beat.
Here is another example: https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...853372691.html It is also interesting that one Portland used lot seems to have picked up every used f31 in existence and put them on Craigs List as well. -Michael |
