auto fold mirror without CA? please help

Hello.

I have a 2011 328i without CA. I do have the folding mirrors via the button.

I have searched around looking to see if this is possible to code without having CA. I found a few different posts, but I still don't have a clear answer.

What I would like to happen is that when I push the lock button on my FOB, the mirrors fold in and when I unlock with the fob or start the car, they fold out.

Also, I so far have only coded stuff in NFRM via the FSW_PSW.TRC file. Is coding in the CAS module the same steps? I'm not able to get NCSDummy to work properly, so I make the modifications in Notepad.

If someone could be so kind to either link me to a post or provide the values to change, I would greatly appreciate it.

It's possible but requires Nettodat coding. Have a read through this thread. Once read I'll answer any questions you have..

You can do it. I've done it using BimmerGeeks Protool app.

Ok. So I did a bunch of coding now. Thanks for linking that thread. It was very helpful.

I've got my mirrors to fold now when I hold the lock button and unfold when pressing unlock.

I now want to change it so when I push lock, they fold right away.

I understand that I have to add a new parameter to KMFRT_SCHLIESSEN in the CAS module. When I load FSW_PSW.TRC in NCSDummy, that value has a green background and when I right click, I have no option to add a value.

If I load NETTODAT.TRC, that same value is now blue background and I have the option to add a parameter. I did that and exported Nettodata MAN file. I went back into NCSExpert and did coapiCodeSgByNettoData, changed the job to SG_CODIEREN and executed.

I re-dumped the files and that new parameter never made it through.

What am I doing wrong here?

EDIT: Figure it out. I had to stop at coapiCodeSgByNettoData. Executing Job was erasing things. Now it works on button press.

I did the same thing on my own 2011 328i but after adding the new parameter in the nettodat.man file i did not do the coapiCodeSgByNettoData in ncs expert just changed the job to send it back to the car just like it was fsw_psw file and i was able to get it to work. I set my new parameter to .5 seconds so i have the choice of leaving them open or just double clicking to fold. Setting to 0 seconds should fold on the first lock but if that isn't working try making it 0.1 second

I've only done it through BimmerGeeks Protool Android app, no idea where or how using different software!
I'll lookup the part on the app and hopefully you can match it on your software.
