Can you see Misfire Counters with ProTool? I think it's OBD Mode 6 or something similar.

Hi, seeking help please. Do not know much about coding. Recently changed my headlights and added LEDs, was going code off the error light bulb message on my dash using Bimmercode. However, got this message from Bimmercode instead: FRM3_89 errors memory contains critical error. I was not able to code at all. There is nothing physically wrong with my lights or windows. Went to BMW dealer thinking it was a faulty footwell module. But dealer couldn't find anything wrong with module.
Can ProTool app help me to code off my lights or will I get the same above error message? Thank you for any help/advise. |

When you say "coded" are you meaning activated? The issue with PDC and the Alarm System is that you would have either had them equipped from factory or you retrofitted them with the hardware first. You can lookup your VIN to see if you have the "Alarm Preparation" which means your car was prepped with the alarm system wiring. You would then just need to add a few parts and code it. PDC would require a bit more to get working.

Greetings from the X5 world.
Installed LEDs in my turn signals and brakes lights. I used Protool to turn off all hot and cold checks and everything was working just fine. A few weeks go by and suddenly I get a message saying “left brake light malfunction.” I have my wife step on the brakes and sure enough he brake light is out. I buy a new pair of bulbs but the left side refuses to light up. Wiring looks good, no melted wires, connectors, etc... I drove around for a month with the original bad LED in the car. Would that cause a short or some other fault in the FRM? Is that something that the diagnostics license can correct? |

Might cause a short in the frm.
The diagnostic license can reset all frm shorts. Also signed into the app today for the first time in a while and it asked for WiFi to re download account licenses. That part of a new update or it’s needed each time now? |

I'm sure this has been asked before but what cheap tablet do you all recommend?
My (android) phone abruptly stopped working and after a few bad experiences with them I'm thinking about moving to Apple.

I have a e70 X5 4.8i
There should be a way to disable the repositioning of the steering wheel every time you get in the car. Anyone know what menu would that be under ?? i searched for a while and couldnt find it There is a setting to lower the height of the vehicle. Did anyone play around with this setting ?? how far down can it go and what would be the right settings to put in thanks

https://www.walmart.com/ip/RCA-Voyag...8aArAFEALw_wcB A question about coding, how many AHL error checks are there? I coded AHL 1&2 errors out and I’m still getting the warning on the dash.

I was wondering if someone could help me. My car is a 07 e90 and i just did the lci tail light conversion. I bought a brand new set of outer rear tails from ecs. I only have the outer installed for now as trunk is being painted. Used protools to code out all warm and cold checks for the rear and still cant stop the fast blinking on turn signals. Im running a frm2 module. Is there something im missing because im still throwing codes for faulty rear turn left and right.

I think there is an option listed as “rear turn signal notification” or something similar to that.
Try disabling that option and see if it works. When you go into the frm, do the options you coded out show disabled? |

“Notification for rear lights” On my car, I had rear warning lights for the bulbs in the rear and I had to code out every bulb on the rear end. Try doing that. Your signals do work right? |
