Bit of a write up from my E91, but I've always disliked my grey cloth and managed to buy almost a complete interior package from a 2011 M-Sport.
It even came with a full set of M-Sport kick plates and brushed aluminium silver trims, but I've stuck with the old ones to save time and as the armrest trim has the iDrive hole and my car doesn't have iDrive (I will advertise these in due course).

I just need a few more black plastic trim parts to finish (drivers inner sill trim, both front under dash trims that follow from the inner sills, and a black gear leaver gaitor).

I trawled my PC for an old photo of how my interior used to look, but I guess I disliked it that much as I only have this one.

This is how it used to look with grey cloth seats and matching door cards, plastic trim etc.

The reason for the post (other than a picture whore opportunity) is to highlight that two tone interior does look ok if done right, so I have no intention to change the carpet, roof lining or upper ABC posts etc. as changing the lower plastic trims to black looks like a reasonable factory job IMO.

Looks great, I'll be doing this soon on my E91, I have grey sport cloth but I want black leather.

How much did yours set you back if you don't mind me asking? Mine is an LCI and there's a nice one on eBay but it's £600+ :-(

If you're going for a colour change then try to get the plastic trims to make it look right i. The car. The only issue then could possibly be seat wiring. I did a bit of research here and found that seats with no heaters or motors are a direct fit, regatdless of year as the connections for the airbags/tentioners are the same.

I dont wanna mention price at this stage though as i'll be selling the brushed ally trims and m sport kick plates to help subsidise the cost.

It was a job lot.
There's loads of sets on ebay that keep popping up at around anywhere between £400-£600.

This is great to know as I will be installing LCI dark cloth into mine which is a pre-LCI to replace the lemon/cream leathers in there now

I did a similar thing in mine except went from leather to alcantara and did change pretty much everything. The only thing I didn't change was the front half of the carpet which I dyed black.

You can paint most of the interior pieces from grey to black if you don't fancy buying them all.

I did mine , pre lci SE to lci m leather . The air lumber support wiring wasn't in the multi plug so I had to wire that myself but the airbag/seat belt tensioner multiplug was like for Like as mentioned.

I wonder why they have different part numbers in 2007/2008 to 2009. What year was yours and what year did the seats come out of? Going to sort it tonight

Not sure what year the leather seats came out of other than it being an LCI. The car they went in to was a 2007 pre-LCi non M-Sport.

Car interior went in perfectly with the only difference being the drivers door card where the centre screw fixing hole has moved to the right by an inch on the LCI version, very annoying, so only secured using 2 screws. I am on the lookout for a Dakota Pre-lci door card now
