AccessTuner Race tablet compatibility

Hi fellas, I'll be taking delivery of my n54 335i and have accessport already on the way. I will tune the car with Accesstuner Race but I need to get a computer to do that. I wanted to know if anybody had been using a tablet pc or ipad for this or do we have to use a regular laptop?

I use a Windows 8 touchscreen ultrabook when i'm out tuning my car. It's Windows only.
