Figure I'll try asking in the general chat before making a dedicated thread...
Would anyone like to share their AD for Oris or Tissot? I've begun my journey into automatics and would appreciate any recommendations for dealers with that in mind |

Have you looked into Movados? Torgus highly recommends that brand |

So MILVS are back in town on Cobra Marty's website and I figure I'll be ordering a set sooner than later. In lieu of buying the spring compressor tool, would anyone be willing to lend theirs for a weekend? Can supply beer and/or some lift time for compensation

I've had my Oris Titan for 8 years (i think) now...really great piece. Runs a little fast, but i love it. It is a tank in a way...feels like if it were to hit a glass door, the door would shatter or certainly dent a wood door. Just a generic picture below.

Long story short, back home in Florida, a family friend runs a higher end pawn shop and had taken it in.

They'll send you fabric swatches if you request them. I got a set of all their red fabrics to see how they matched with the rest of my coral red interior.

Anyone in or around CT have the resources and time available to help me install Downpipes and Charge pipe for an XDrive N55 X1?

Anyone know someone who does their own work in R.I. but knows what they are doing? I've got a x1 with the n55 I was hoping to find a local to wrench on for me. I don't want to pay dealership costs but want to do basic stuff like repairs and eventually downpipe and intercooler install as well. Alternatively any highly recommended indie shops.

There are two decent shops in Walpole MA if you want to make the drive.
This thread sucks.

Both in Walpole MA:
Max @ NorthEast Autobahn <--Tell him Jonathan with the single turbo sent you. Wile Automotive <-- Never been there but they are VERY well known in the local BMW world. Farley @ Eurotek is good if he is closer to you. This thread sucks because the local NE section on this forum is dead especially this chat thread. I have seen more action from corpses.

That's a bummer I really loved these forums. I was very active with my 135i. I still have that and the x1 35i but both forums have wayyyy less activity than the 3 series forums. |
