2009 HU for 2007 328i
Hey, I'm new here and couldn't figure out how to post a question and I've been doing a lot of reading,
I've seen a lot of base stereo to HIFI or L7, but I'm looking at a HU that came out of a 2009 328i and I believe it has either HIFI or L7, my question is IF it were to be one of those two, can I code it to base audio? Since that's what my 07 has. Also, are the pins the same for 2009 and 2007? Is it plug and play? Thanks, JJ |

Yes.[/QUOTE] Okay thank you!, just how exactly would I do that?if you don't mind my asking, I've been reading these forums and the more I read the more I confuse myself since what everyone is doing is more complicated because they're upgrading or adding extra components. |

E90 LCI basic stereo to Hi-Fi coding with no iDrive
Hello. Can someone explain please, step by step, how do I code a standard/basic radio setup to a Hi-Fi system in an E90 LCI (07.2010 build date) ? Don't send those dozen links, I've read them all and they do not explain at all how it is done. There are only fractions of info there.
The car has the standard radio, it has no iDrive, (no tweeters, no amp, just 4 speakers + 2 subwoofers under the front seats). I want to buy a Hi-Fi system from a donor car, complete with cables and need to code my original radio ... Thanks in advance. |
