Delphi Coil Experience?
Realoem says to run Delphi 12138616153 coil and the NGK PLZFR6A11S or the Bosch FRN7NPP332. Thoughts on the Chinese made Delphi? Better off with another brand? Anybody have any bad experiences with them? Would rather steer away from “Genuine BMW”. Car has felt somewhat limp lately and has 73k on it so I’m gonna look at all the plugs and stuff this weekend.

I have a LCI 328i. My Bosch coils started to misfire at 59k miles. I upgraded to Delphi coils and put in NGK plugs, which my car already had the lasted revision, with no problems.

I dont know if its worth anything but I bought my car used and it has a Delphi coil pack in it from the previous owner. No problems so far!

Yeah, the bosch coils fail too. They all do. There doesn’t seem to be any really reliable data to say which is best.
Buy whatever’s cheapest and have an extra in your trunk idea you’re super worried. |
