The workmanship is spot on there. I really think they overcharge bigtime so I have changed and also the wait time cause you drop it off on a monday after booking it in weeks in advance and then you dont get it back for over a week and a half and feels like you're just a number.

Yeah iv caught them out a few times absolutely bullshitting me on labour times, absolute rip off for sure, i even caught them red handed once when they charged me like 3 hours labour for a job i knew was a 45 min job, they hadn't even fixed the issue so when i took it back i asked how long to do it again and they said 30 mins rofl.

I go to eurotec now and the mans a good honest guy, only thing is he wont do aftermarket bits... id love to check the car out / go for a ride when its done bud, what a weapon.

Shit everywhere... Hope they don't loose any parts haha...

So the piston rings in cylinder 5 and 6 are stuffed as you can move them side to side which leaks oil into the combustion chamber. Probably will see more of these issues when people get close to 150k+km on the engines. My advise is to rebuild internals with forge first before doing all the mods. This most likely will avoid alot of issues further down the track.

If they do, you get new parts!!

So the smoking wasn't necessarily due to the turbos then?

No not at all. I have brand new pures on with less then 200 km on them. Thought it might of been valve stem seals but replaced them plus valve cover gasket, also pcv system replaced but it was the secondary piston rings that are stuffed. The pistons are still like new but better to replace them since I'm getting the rebuild done for strong rings. Port injection is on the cards in the next month.

I was referring to your RB's.. Could these internal issues be a cause/symptom to what you were experiencing with them?

Nope. The rear turbine had lateral and horizontal movement and the turbine was off balance from day one cause I could hear a metal clipping sound which was the blades catching. The smoke didn't occur till after I got the Pure's on.
