It figures gas will go down when the economy is going this bad, and all of a sudden there is not shortage of oil!! What a joke...When the economy is headed back in a upward trend, I bet those SOB will be quick to raise their prices and say that there are shortages again, which to me is B.S! Our president and his family are oil moguls thats the funny part of it!

I've also noticed that the octane rating in other countries is always much higher. An octane rating of under 90 is unheard of in China. And it seems that there's a higher rating in other countries too. What's up with that?

Different rating system, other countries use RON, US uses an average of RON and MON. Their 96 is equivalent to our 91 I believe.

Just drove by AGAIN today, and it dropped down to $2.85 for 93!!! SO SICK!!

Different scales. 93 in US and 99 in Europe are the same gas, the scales are not the same.
