Passenger Rear Window Stuck Down

My passenger rear window regulator failed today. I am having trouble trying to manually raise the window. The goal is to raise the window all the way up, and tape it so that it doesn't fall down until the regulator I ordered from FCPEuro comes in. Also, if I can't raise the window up, I haven't seen any window regulator DIY's with the window down, so if there is a way to manually raise it please let me know.

If there is no window above the seal at all, you could try adhering some duct tape to the window surface and lifting the window sufficiently with the tape to pull it with your hands. Once you get it set in the upper channel, you can apply a suction cup on the lower inter surface to prevent it from sliding down. It's cleaner than getting tape all over the trim.

What my mechanic has had me do in the past is clasp the window with one hand outside and another inside, obviously with the door open. Then push the window up. He then had me use a putty knife wedged into the window at the bottom seal on the outside. His method works like a champ.

Would remove the door panel and push it up. Then 3m double sided tape between the window and the seal to keep it up until the replacement part arrives

Hello everyone, I have removed the door panel and everything but there is a lot of tension on one of the cables, not allowing me to lift up the window. I tried having my brother pull up on the window switch while I yanked up on the window from the inside, but no luck. Also there's a 50/50 chance I burned out the motor doing that so yeah. I am probably just going to cut the cable with the tension and just move from there.
