2011 335is front camber bolt broke

I was getting an alignment done and the tech broke his torx head into the bolt you need to loosen on the shock tower to move the shocks. I cant find the part number for that bolt. Does anyone know it? Thanks

It's not a bolt, it's a pin, and if the "tech" doesn't know how to remove it, get your money back if you paid them, and never go back to that shop.

You don't need the pin, that's the good news. If you can drill it out and leave it out, it's even better.

Again, a pic would help...

If it's the strut top mount alignment pin, it's not available separately; you need to replace the whole top mount

What you're saying makes no sense.

First, "they do": are you saying they know how to remove the pin? If that were the case, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Second, why would you try to replace the pin? Either the strut mount is worn and it's time to remove the pin, or it's not. There is no situation in which you would remove the pin only to replace it.

some have an allen head type pin iirc, that always strips when you try to remove it, which then requires you to punch it out, taking the threads with it. it not needed, you remove it to properly do an alignment adjustment

That pin can be removed safely. There is no reason to replace it. Indeed, if the camber needs to be adjusted from its current position, the pin cannot be replaced since the chassis hole and strut mount hole will no longer align. It is not available separately from the strut mount.

No, the pin needs to be REMOVED to adjust the camber.

You're clearly not understanding what you're being told, which is fine. It's not your job. Which I why I started by advising you to take your car to a different shop. The alignment shop is supposed to know how to align a car, and apparently this shop doesn't.
