If we're talking about something similar to this guy... (BMW OEM Part # 17217551647) (I picked mine up from http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/BMW_..._Core/ES38610/)
I bought this to replace a leaky one on my '06 325i last week. I wanted to see if I could remove the hoses with some other tool than the special tool required in the bentley manual, but it looks like the BMW oil cooler line transmission pliers (BMW OEM 17 0 030 a whopping $230+ :lol: )are required, no workaround I could find, maybe someone has better luck?
So be sure to add the part in the cost of the repair. I picked up a pair from (http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Oil-Cool...item564290b31d) yesterday, i'll followup this weekend on my replacement, these were a little cheaper too. :thumsup:
Besides the two transmission lines the other hoses are a simple latch unlock and pull off similar to the radiator hoses. Prepare to get a little wet, i'd suggest reading up on the awesome DIY radiator posts as well.
