Transmission Failure

Hey Guys,

I got a transmission failure warning earlier today and my car went into limp mode.

After turning the car off and starting again the problem was gone.

Has anyone encountered the same problem? If so, was it a regularly occurrence? Should I be worried?

My car is 2007 335i e92.

My friend has the problem in his 325i today.. we took off the gear leaver and surround and pushed the red reset button, it fixed it.

The only time that I have experienced a similar situation was when my battery was on its way out. Once the battery was replaced, everything came good again.
